General Israel Ziff in an interview with Israeli TV 7 on Wednesday urged Netanyahu's cabinet to avoid war with Lebanon due to the tensions on the northern occupied lands, stressing that any possible war could lead to the dissolution of the army.
Describing the possible war between the two sides as “provocative”, he said that mutual threats will lead to a big conflict in the region, especially as Lebanon's borders are different from those in the Gaza Strip, and any small event can trigger an all-out war.
The warnings came in reaction to the Israeli war minister, Yoav Gallant’s statements on increasing possible tensions on the northern border of occupied lands with Lebanon and threats which he imposed against Lebanon.
